Ausra Denis

This beautiful couple was my favourite this year. I know It's not good to have favourites, but in their case it proved just right. They have met during their academic years, in a university campus, while Denis came to Lithuania for an Erasmus program. They fell in love, and so this adorable French guy stayed in gloomy Lithuania, for his love and learned Lithuanian. So finally they decided to get married and as a photographer they chose me. I could not wait for their wedding because I knew it would be amazing. Sadly, we had some issues. First one was that the bride ordered her dress to be created by now super popular rising local designer. She only saw it in flabby pieces in 1 fitting and had her actual dress the day before her wedding! She called me with tears, and I knew I had to act fast. Finding a new dress was not an option, because there was no time. But I offered her to wear a vintage long sleeved dress for the part of the shoot I had. Another problem was make-up and hair stylist. I don't think she did a nice job (Though I didn't tell that to dear Aušra) The make-up was less than amateur, hairstyle was not the best as well, especially when you consider the money those witches get for this job. In Aušra's case her beauty saved the day, but on others it was much more of a disappointment. so I'l never ever recommend THAT designer and THAT make-up artist.
